Then it’s back on board for a loop around the cathedral, past the Bank of England, returning to Liverpool Street, where you’re well placed to carry on the party in nearby Shoreditch.

Crossing the bridges may need a little extra leg work but the rewards are well worth it, as you’ll see the Thames in a whole new light. After crossing London Bridge, we cut through the heart of the City’s banking district, always bristling with activity, before descending to The Blackfriar pub for a halfway pit-stop. After another breath-taking bridge crossing at Blackfriars, the tour finishes with a gentler ride through Southwark and Borough Market to finish.

Meeting Point: The Horniman-at-Hays pub, Battle Bridge Lane, London, SE1 2HD.

ROUTE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED due to roadworks on London Bridge.
